The FREE To Kids Sale
Today at Farmhouse Magic Blog we decided to have a “FREE to Kids” Give-Away of items we found in our basement that were no longer of use to us.
Instead of tossing them in the trash bin or donating them to charity, we took them all out in the front yard and put a “FREE to Kids” sign out. We also included or “Parents who home school” on the sign.
Today our free items includes a school desk, a world globe, skateboard, jump rope, tennis rackets, watch, games, school backpacks, new desk lamp, etc.
Within eleven minutes of starting the FREE to Kids Give-Away, the world globe and the reptile encyclopedia book were gone.
The globe actually lights up.
A nice lady who worked for the health department picked them up for her daughter.

It’s a lovely day weather-wise so I’m hoping I don’t have anything left at the end of the day.
I feel good about the FREE to Kids Give-Away because things are tough right now for everyone.
An item picked up could put a smile on some child’s face.

Update on Free to Kids Give-Away – 5-23-2020
By 9:30 a.m. skateboard had been taken
By 10:45 a.m. both tennis rackets were gone.
A nice lady stopped by to pick up the child’s desk at 12:33 p.m. She wanted the desk for her four year old daughter. We also talked her into taking a pool noodle.
On 5-24-2020 I took the after photograph. I also noticed someone picked up the stacking cups game, the new lamp, and the chips. I was surprised no one picked up the flying disks.
Looks like we had a very successful “Free to Kids” Give-Away day.

End of the Give Away
Summary – The two flying disks, large yellow crayon bank, jump rope, and the large shooting rockets were all taken.
We ended up trashing the horn, two small finger rockets, a protractor, and two computer bags.
