Everyone who reads Farmhouse Magic Blog knows that occasionally, I’ll get a “treasure box” from Chico’s, this time, containing my Winter Fashion Refresh. It’s that time of year when noting much is happening, the holidays are over with and I’m feeling my winter wardrobe is a bit drab.
So, what’s in today’s package?
When I receive my package from Chico’s, it’s almost like opening a “treasure box”.
This box contains blue jeans, a tunic top, and a colorful necklace.
Multicolored Necklace & Winter Fashion Refresh
The first item I am blogging about, is a a five strand multi-colored necklace in burnished gold. It’s absolutely gorgeous to wear. I like the fact that the clasp is large enough to easily open to put on or take off. It is made with multi-colored pieces. This necklace matches a lot of different outfits including jeans.
I’m wearing the necklace with my new Chico’s button sleeve poplin shirt stipe tunic. The buttons are unusual gold ones but they give you two extra buttons in case you lose one. I love the tunic length. I can, also, wear it over a white T-shirt for spring and summer wear.
Unfortunately, when checking Chico’s online site, I see other shoppers also loved these two pieces as they are no longer available.
Slim Leg Demin Jeans
My last purchase in my winter fashion refresh box, is a pair of slim leg blue jeans which will go nicely with the above purchased pieces.
Brief History of Chico’s Store
I’ve often wondered about the background of Chico’s stores, so I did a bit of online research.
Chico’s stores sell women’s clothing and accessories. They began operation on Sanibel Island, Florida in 1983. Their headquarters are now located in Fort Myers, Florida. Sanibel Island sounds like a nice place for a vacation with magnificent beaches filled with shells, a vintage light house, and some picnic areas. They even have a National Shell Museum.

So in ending today’s blog, everything in my Chico’s “treasure box” fit perfectly!
I can wear the pieces together or with other outfits. I, also, used a $5 off good customer appreciation code on my last order, so my order was $5 less. Thank you Chico’s and perhaps some day I’ll come to Florida for a visit!
