Vintage Credenza, Furniture Shopping at ReStore

The photograph on today’s blog, shows a vintage wooden credenza for sale in the local ReStore shop, Chantilly location.

It is very ornate and looks to be made of hard wood.  I also liked the door knobs, very different.  Possibly made in the 1930’s.

The credenza needs to be refinished but still is an impressive piece of furniture.

It, also, would need the right setting.  I don’t believe “Plain Jane” furniture will work with this piece.

It is always fun to shop in resell shops or antique stores looking for pieces that will work in your home.

The ReStore shops are run by the Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization.

Happy Shopping!

Question of the Day – Have you ever refinished wooden furniture?  If so, how long did the project take?
