Tanzania Tablecloth
Yesterday I found the above United Republic of Tanzania tablecloth in the junk store for two dollars.
The fabric is very thin. The pattern is printed in blue and white with lots of diamonds or gems shapes incorporated throughout the cloth. It also has the wording “Miaka 25 Ya Huduma” which translates in English to mean “25 Years of Service”.
I hand washed it but the dark blue dye started to run. I am probably going to wash it a second time and line dry it.
I don’t have much blue in my home but I’ll find a nice spot for it.
Maltese Islands cloth is about the size of a large scarf.
Maltese Islands Mini Tablecloth
I thought I would include my Maltese Islands mini tablecloth with this blog.
I also found this small cloth covering in the junk store probably for a dollar or two. It is made of 100% cotton and has various scenes from the Maltese Islands.
I use it under a basket on my storage chest.
