Today we did two loads of wash and since it was so hot, we stopped in Taco Bell for a cool drink. Please keep in mind that this Taco Bell restaurant was recently remodeled, so I decided to review things.
The parking had lots of empty spaces, but we also visited the place after lunch plus they have a busy drive through.
Note – Somehow this afternoon break reminds me of the current display at the farmhouse, where the farmwife cans strawberry jam on a hot summer’s day. However, she stops for a cool Crass soda break which I believe was bottled in Alexandria, VA.
Wow, we are off topic once again. Anyway, back to today’s visit at Taco Bell. We decided to drink our sodas inside.
Taco Bell Menu & History
Taco Bell’s website said their offerings have craveability and they serve “better food”. Interestingly, they offer Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza, mini taco salads and for dessert cinnamon twists. Of course, that is along with their regular menu offerings.
Interestingly, Taco Bell gets its name from its American founder, Glen Bell. He opened the first Taco Bell in Downey, California in 1962.
Our Visit to Taco Bell
We liked the bright purple, white and blue modern mural on the wall. They also have a great outdoor patio area. There were a few people eating there but it was way too hot and muggy for Farmhouse Magic Blog.
Taco Bell’s patio is fenced in and had nice patio furniture. It is a great place to get a little sun and fresh air.
Before we left, I visited the lady’s room which has a modern black and white tile design on one wall.
The bathroom’s black and white tiles look modern, fresh and has clean lines. The tiles are mixed up some for an artistic look.
Ending Notes
We found our trip to be enjoyable.
Plus, I tried their iced tea which has a crisp slightly lemon flavor to it. I’m going to have to come back for lunch or dinner one day.
