ReStore and the Peruvian Bed Set

ReStore and the Peruvian Bed Set is an unusual topic to blog on. However, this furniture set definitely needs a special mention because it is an absolutely gorgeous bedroom set.

Peruvian Carved Mahogany Bed Set

This set is definitely a grand statement piece for a larger bedroom.

In addition, after talking with one the lovely sales associates, we both agree this bed set could be seen on the floor of a high end resale shop or antique store.

The bed set is a beautiful hand-carved mahogany wooden headboard and two simple matching side tables.

There is a $500 price for the headboard but I’m not sure if that includes the matching two sides tables.

Mahogany Wood Facts

Mahogany wood is found naturally both in North and South America. The wood is popular for its beauty, durability and reddish-brown color. However, the wood darkens over time and has a slight sheen. Its excellent workability makes it a perfect choice for carving and crafting into furniture or cabinets.

Leather Vintage Valises

The second items I’m blogging about, are a couple of tasteful leather vintage valises. Valises are a cross between a briefcase and a small suitcase. Use your valise to store your laptop, documents, files, or even clothing for an overnight stay.

The below valise is made of soft tan leather, has zipper closures and the corners are reinforced with tabs of leather.

Price for the valises are only $10 each.

Vintage Wooden Chair

There is a piece of tape over this vintage wooden chair.

The chair is nicely made with dark wood backing and legs. The chair’s seat is a cross stitch with a pattern circle of pink and maroon colored roses.

I like the seat covering pattern on this vintage chair.
