Game of Life Board Game
I’m just doing a short blog today since we had technical issues.
I decided to blog on board games. Who doesn’t like to play board games?
A very famous board game was made by the Milton Bradley company called The Game of Life. Milton Bradley was a lithographer looking for ways to make money while trying other applications in the process.
Around 1859, Milton Bradley came up with a checker board type of game which he called The Checkered Game of Life which later became The Game of Life. The original playing board actually looked a bit like a checker board.
Interestingly enough, The Game of Life was different from other types of board games since it did not deal with morals and it was more about obtaining wealth.
Trump Game
I’ve played The Game of Life before and it was quite fun as you never know what good or bad things will befall the players much like real life.
The above photograph is of Trump–The Game. The object of the game is to use your money wisely to become wealthy during the board game.
I’ve never played this game before but by looking on the back of the board game box, the players are dealing with millions and billions of dollars. What ever player has the most money at the end of the game wins.
It looks like the theme of gaining money in board games is as popular now as it was years ago only the amounts of money have increased.
