Kitchen Clean Up – Polishing Pots and Pans

With the new year here, now is the the perfect time to get out the polishing powder and give them a nice shining.

I use a powdered cleanser which has been around for years.  I think it was used in bars for clean up.

It works great on stainless steel, porcelain, ceramics, copper, brass, etc.

I always wear rubber gloves and scrub with a toss away paper towel.

I like to use an old toothbrush to get the grime out of the edges and nooks.

When you are done scrubbing and polishing be sure to wash each item with soapy water and rinse with clean water.   Make sure all traces of the scrubbing powder are gone.

One last job to make the kitchen cleaner, is to scrub the kitchen sink with the same cleanser, wash, and rinse well.

If you see a film over the kitchen sink, wash and rinse the sink again.

Don’t reuse the paper towel, toss.
