Lately, we have had quite a few times when the power has gone out in our neighborhood.
We decided to update our alternate power sources of flashlights and candles.
This first photograph shows a mini-generator. It has no dangerous fumes to deal with.
It can power a small lamp and also has two small lights beaming from the front.
You recharge it from an electrical outlet.
We have, also, used this mini-generator to recharge cell phones but it will not power our computers.
The lamp in this photograph was plugged into the mini-generator for a power source.
This mini-generator costs about $100 or less and was purchased online.
This mini-generator has been very useful in times of no power.
Lamp Powered with Mini-Generator Lamp FlashlightI found this lamp flashlight at a Bass Outlet store for about five dollars but it regularly costs closer to $30.
This lamp flashlight throws a lot of light and runs on batteries. It sits nicely on a flat surface or you can hang it from the top handle.
It is light weight and I think it would make a nice camping addition.
Now I wish I would have bought more for other rooms in my house.
Let’s hope those electrical power outages are few and far between.
But if that’s not the case, I’m ready with my alternative power sources.
Glen,
I see you like old ten-speed bikes. May your biking path be free of bumps and bike-chasing dogs. Good Luck!

Logan,
You noticed our site on a list from Google News? Not sure I know anything about that one nor can I give you any tips about it. Good luck with your blog site.
