Huge Pop-up Bubble Tents

Today I noticed huge pop-up bubble tents near the front door of a Reston restaurant.

The pop-up bubble tents are made of super clear plastic and help retain heat on cold days.  They are also water-proof, wind resistant up to level 6, and some even contain a hook to hang up your coat.

During the warmer days of spring, summer and fall, restaurants used their outdoor dinning areas for seating to protect dinners from coronavirus.

With colder temperatures upon us, restaurants have begun to test out these huge bubble tents.  New York City, San Francisco, and other cities have already pressed bubble tents into operation.

The bubble tents allow restaurant patrons to be separated in keeping with social distancing needs and also keep warm.

However, there are some concerns regarding adequate ventilation in the bubble and also the chance you take with dinning with others not in your immediate family.

Hopefully, bubble tents will help keep restaurants open and, also, keep down the spread of coronavirus.
