USA Presidential Elections, 2020

Although FMB’s does not endorse a particular candidate, I thought I would post a short blog on today’s United States presidential election.

This year due to the coronavirus, there were quite a few mail-in ballots cast.  I actually voted this way myself.

The photographs for today’s blog were taken at a local elementary school which, during elections, becomes a polling place.  Outside on the lawn, many signs are posted for political candidates.

If you are unable to get out of your car, there is even a curbside voting option available.

If you call the number on the sign, a worker from the polls will come out to your vehicle so you can cast your ballot.

It is a great honor and privilege to be an American and to be able to vote in today’s presidential election.  Everyone over the age of 18 is eligible to vote in this county.

Voting is at the base of our democratic society.  When you vote, you tell the government what you want.

To be a good voter, stay informed on issues, ask questions, and volunteer if possible.
