With summer temperatures often in the 90’s, we decided to go out for chocolate dipped vanilla cones. The crunchy outer chocolate coating melted immediately in my mouth giving way to the cold and creamy ice cream center.
On the way home, we stopped at a traffic light. That got me to thinking about life, in general, being like a traffic light.
Green Light – Go as fast as you can!
Yellow Light – Use caution, difficulties ahead.
Red Light – Stop all activity. Rethink, re-plan, redo and then re-evaluate.
The same is true of road signs. What life lessons can we get out of road signs like “No U Turn”? or “One Way”? My ice cream cone is about finished at this point and there is only “one way” to get home, sorry, “no u turn” allowed to get seconds.
