Today a woman was found dead after being shot multiple times in Reston.
Police were called to the scene shortly before 7 a.m.
The area near Colts Neck Road, Glade and Paddock Lane were closed to traffic. The woman did not have any ID on her.
Nearby residents reported that they thought they heard “firecrackers” at 12:30 a.m.
The shooter has not been apprehended.
