Yesterday while on our way to Tysons, we stopped in Cafe de Vienna. We were looking for something a bit different growing tired of the same old chain restaurants. My companion did not have breakfast yet, so he ordered their English Muffin Egg Sandwich to go with his coffee.
Our Visit to Cafe de Vienna
We met Afsaneh, the owner, who is a very friendly lady. She took our orders as we found a seat. It was early morning, so we easily found a seat opting to eat indoors.
The cafe is located on Church Street. It is fairly new only being open one year. Before that time, she said it was a shoe repair shop for 40 years.
Our Meal
Since I already ate breakfast, I ordered an decaf Americana coffee. My companion had the breakfast English Muffin sandwich and coffee. The sandwich was served with a slice of orange. Cream was also brought to the table in a small glass creamer server.
We like the fact that we could relax as we had our meal. My companion, also, liked drinking his coffee out of a real glass mug. We enjoyed the coffees and food.

We also noted that they sell ice cream, milk shakes, root beer floats, banana splits, etc. Sounds good on a hot day.
They have quite a few flavors of ice cream to select from.

Closing Notes on our Visit
We loved the unique atmosphere of the cafe and would definitely return. So, off we went on our way to Tysons.
