Really, it looks like I haven’t kept up with all the fall happenings this October, so I’m adding a blog on Halloween Cakes.
Right now, wouldn’t you just love a piece of Vanilla Scream Ghost Cake or Dirt and Worms Chocolate Chiffon Cake with a cup of hot coffee or tea?

That’s right, very cute Halloween inspired cake names and, as always, delicious looking cakes.
Vanilla Scream Ghost Cake
First, let’s looks at the Vanilla Scream Ghost Cake.
It is a vanilla sponge cake layered with custard cream and generous vanilla frosting. The top of the cake is decorated with five little ghosts with dark eyes plus a chocolate spider web. It looks like everything is edible on this cake. The side of the cake has one additional ghost and a second chocolate spider web.
Dirt and Worms Chocolate Chiffon Cake
The next cake is a three-layer Dirt and Worms Chocolate Chiffon Cake. Boy, this cake would be great surprise for a little boy’s birthday party. Personally, I love the chocolate cookie crumbs on the cake plus the colorful gummy worms. On the side of the cake is another gummy worm.

Ending Notes on Halloween Cakes Blog
I remember years ago having a small birthday party at my house and made a chocolate cake. On the top of the cake, I dragged a wooden skewer through the top of the orange icing to make it look like a spider web. Actually, it turned out quite nicely.
But, wow, it really takes some talent to make today’s blog-worthy cakes. So, happy early Halloween, right?
The cakes photographed in today’s blog came from Paris Baguette. Thank you!
