Adorable is a great name for these Spider Mochi Donuts which we saw in the display case at Paris Baguette.
In keeping with the season for spooky items, we noticed three unusual pastry creations.
So, let us take a detailed look at some of their offerings.
Dirt & Worm Chocolate Chiffon Cake
In keeping things delicious, this four layer chocolate chiffon cake’s top is so cute and right for a fall holiday birthday. What child would love colorful gummy worms and chocolate cookie crumbs on their cake?
Spider Mochi Donuts
The Spider Mochi Donuts are fun food, and they do look like large spiders.
The body of the spider is made with a chocolate Oreo cookie with black icing for the eight legs.
I’m not sure what the whites of the eyes are made from. However, black icing creates the small black dot on the spider’s eyes. The spider’s eyes seem to be crossed for a friendly spider look.
Halloween “Scream” Donuts
Now for our last item. This is the Halloween “Scream” Donut display.
Again, we see the use of chocolate Oreos to make the large eyes. Chocolate icing outlines the mouth and nose.
I love that each Scream Donut has a smile showing.
