Here we are near the end of February and I’m still purchasing items from the 80% off sales bins for Christmas leftovers.
Items on the Deep Sales Bin
So what left over items from the holidays did I find worthy of purchasing?
Last year I wanted to add a little color to my Christmas tree. However, I was unable to find any reasonably priced picks. I was looking at holly picks with red or white berries but these items were very expensive. Then when I tried to order things online, almost everything was sold out. I guess I waited too long to buy holiday things.
This week I saw these long sprigs of glitter red stems and wrapping curls for the 80% off sales price, so now is the time to act.
What is nice about the red curls is that you can pull and adjust them to what size you want. This way I can wrap them around tree branches or add them around ornaments I want to showcase.
So I purchased six of the long glitter stems which were originally priced at $2.99 each. I, also, purchased, ten of the sparkle red wrapping curls which were originally priced at $1.99 each. At the register, I received the 80% off of the original prices so I’m thinking what a great bargain for the big bag of decorations I got.
The below photograph shows the bright red and glittery picks I purchased at the 80% off sales. As you can see the red colors match perfectly so the 80% off sales really came in handy for me.
Plan for the 80% Off Sales Items?
The plan for the 80% off sales items is to toss the glitter red picks into one my Christmas bins.
Next Christmas I’ll take them out to place them between the branches of my Christmas tree and then add the holiday bulbs.
I think it will give my tree lots of pizzazz. So, I’m thinking to make the holiday tree different this year. Something people will remember and think to themselves why did I think of that?
For the photograph on the left, I placed the red ribbon curls in my towel holder bowl.
Ending Notes on the 80% Off Sales Blog
So after buying all those goodies from the 80% off sales bin, I can hardly wait to see what my tree will look like with all the red glittery elements.
But that’s the thing with buying things ahead of time you’re not sure what they will look like then the tree is complete.
It will definitely give me something to look forward to.
