Shopping Plaza
This fairly new shopping center is actually near to where I live.
Vacant Coffee Shop
This is the coffee shop where I would meet my gal pals for coffee.
It is now boarded up with a ripped up display in the front window.
Previous Site of Demolished Bank, now a Parking Lot
In the far area of this photograph is a new parking lot.
A bank building was torn down to make way for the new parking lot.
I believe they are going to build a multi level parking garage in this spot at sometime in the future.
I come to this area at times to shop for groceries.
From my understanding, the rents in this area were raised in anticipation of the opening of the nearby metro system.
I noticed a sign in a vacant store front stating the coming of new stores, more parking, and fun events.
It will be nice to see this area full of people and to see what new stores they will be bringing in. I hope the plans include a new coffee shop.
