Winter Snowfall

Winter Snowfall

It was a gray and peaceful day.  The snowfall started in the afternoon and continued for a couple of hours.

I took a few photographs of the trees and bushes in my backyard.

The whole yard looks very cold and serene when covered with a blanket of snow.

I like the stark white and black colors of this maple tree photograph.  It is as if all the other colors in nature were bleached away.

The blanket of snow, also, hides all imperfections in the natural world.

One of the photographs below shows my burning bush plant near by the outdoor bench and the other one is of my patio table.

I’m enjoying the snow storm while I am safe and warm inside.

I took this photograph of my Leland Cypress trees while pointing the lens up to the sky.

The Leland Cypress trees almost look like pine trees.
