Round Storage Boxes on Chair
This blog is called “Round Storage Containers” but a more apt title would be “Round Storage Containers and Why I Love Them!”
At one time, these boxes might have been called hat boxes and mainly used for the storage of ladies’ hats.
These circular containers fits quite a bit of odd sized storage items. Not everything in life is a perfect square.
I originally purchased them at the Pottery Barn. The boxes are remarkably sturdy and have held up over the years.
I love to open my closet door and see the brightly stripped boxes neatly stacked up. I generally put the largest box on the bottom.
I also like the fact that these circular storage boxes have rope handles. It is easier to pull a box toward you if you are reaching up.
They are also a great decorative item giving storage a bit of a vintage edge.
Be sure to check out the local craft stores for storage solutions. Craft stores have paper mache storage containers in a range of sizes and shapes which you can paint to match your room’s decor.
Paper mache storage boxes are also sold in a variety of stores. If you plan on using them for storage, make sure the boxes are large enough to hold your items.
