First of all let me say, I can never decorate my tree as lovely as Merrifield Garden Center does, but I’m using some photographs recently taken at their store to do a Red and White Christmas Blog.
I always get new ideas about holiday decorating, gift giving, and entertaining from viewing their holiday displays.
For your information, it looks like each Christmas ornament is sold separately so you can buy a few or as many as you want. The holiday decorated trees in this blog are also artificial.
Faux Lollipop, Donuts, and Candy Christmas Tree Decorations
The tree below is full of red and white faux lollipops, candy, gingerbread cookies and donuts.
There is red and white ribbon woven throughout the tree which looks like a type of ribbon candy.
So, it is a real treat to see that the topper is a large red and white faux lollipop with artistically bent ribbon reaching to the sky.
Best of all, no calories involved in looking at this tree, candy, or gingerbread houses.
Their fireplace mantel also goes with the theme being strung with greenery and faux candies. There is also a red and white chain, which looks like ribbon, incorporated into the design. Matching the mantel is a festive green wreath with matching colored ribbons on it. The mantel ledge has an assortment of faux gingerbread houses. Best of all, these decorations can be used season and after season because the candy is not real.
Many people will be setting tables for the holiday, so there is a collection of candles behind the tree.
Mini Red Present Topped Christmas Tree
This next Christmas tree is topped with several red mini wrapped presents, ribbon, and two star lights.
I imagine the red wrapped presents are on some type of floral pick to hold them in place. The two stars and ribbon bows look stunning on this holiday tree. The red wrapped presents are also spaced throughout the tree with other ornaments.
Sturdy Red Christmas Tree Stand
If you are buying a real tree, now might be the time to update your Christmas Tree Stand.
Photographed below are the well-made and sturdy Bowlings Red Christmas Tree Stands. Theses are located outside near the Christmas tree sales lot.
So, I like the way they have rethought the whole idea of the tree stand. This stand is large enough for practically any tree and the three legs support it nicely. Because fresh trees like lots of water, the basin is large enough for the tree trunk and extra water. Best of all, the three large screws have handles which are easy to turn. The stands are made by Bowling Enterprises out of Bear Lake, Michigan.

White Birch Poles
So when I was outside the store, I noted this wooden crate of white birch poles. These can be used in a variety of ways for decorating. For example, wrap two or three with red lights, place in a large planter, or put a few on your dinning room table with woodland animals.
Nice assortment of white birch pole for decorating needs.
Closing Notes
In conclusion, for the best results in holiday tree decorating, play attention to details. Make the top of your tree a real showstopper.
Also, faux lollipops, donuts, and gingerbread houses also make the holiday special.
A Big Thank You to Daniel of Merrifield Garden Center for allowing me to blog and take photographs of their Holiday Decorated store. All items featured in today’s blog are available for sale at Merrifield Garden Center.
