It was a wet and rainy afternoon. . .

For a good fright, I took a walk through the neighborhood looking at some of the outdoor Halloween decorations.

I really liked this grave yard complete with wooden pumpkins, quippy headstones, and a homemade black coffin.

It took imagination and a sense of fun to come up with the wording on these terrifying headstones.

This photograph shows another neighborhood grave yard built over tree roots.

I like the scary black cat ready  to pounce.

It is not quite dark enough to see the full effect of the orange lights on this house.

The swirl of lights on the far bush looks a little like a spider web.

It was fun checking out some of the outdoor decorations.

Now if my new grass would just grow in, I could add a headstone or two on my lawn.
