Candy in Canning Jars
I went out to lunch today at a country themed restaurant. It’s always busy and today was no exception. We waited about ten minutes for a table.
The food is always good and hearty.
If it is a nice day, then you can sit outside on the rocking chairs and wait for your table. The rocking chairs are also for sale.
This green vintage wringer washer was located on the front porch.
It lends a country vibe to the place.

Today I had grilled trout off their low calorie selection. It came with choices of two sides so I selected a tossed salad and broccoli.
The restaurant also has a nice little shop. The store sells anything from vintage candy to t-shirts.
Also in the store, was this peacock plate. It was unusual and very detailed.
I also liked the knitted cupcake tape measures in the photograph below.
I enjoyed my lunch and also shopping in their county store.
