When visiting a local convenience shop, I first noticed the outside advertisement for a brand of New Orleans Chips.
Zapp’s Potato Chips are advertised as New Orleans Kettle Style. I also like the unusual package with dolls with needles in them.
So, on my way to pick up a newspaper and a cup of coffee, I saw a display of chips and picked up a bag to try at home.

Taste Testing of New Orleans Chips
I pulled the bag of Zapp’s out after dinner so I could get everyone opinion of the chips.
Immediately, I could smell the aroma of the chips before I even tried them. They are not hot but sort of taste like a cross between vinegar potato chips and BBQ Potato chips plus toss in a bit of sugar and spice.
The chips contain some garlic powder, paprika and turmeric extract, paprika, spice and natural smoke flavor.
They definitely taste different from regular potato chips and are advertised as “twisted with flavor”.
