Our traveling foursome of gals, recently returned from vacation with photos of the class they took at the Napa Valley Cooking School. Or more accurately, the Culinary Institute of America at the Copia.

Culinary Institute of America at Copia
Not knowing much about culinary schools, I did a little online research to find out more about this well-known school. Actually, the Culinary Institute of America at Copia is a food and beverage center located in Napa Valley, California. Visitors can take a class, dine at their restaurant called The Grove, or drop in for a glass of wine.
This is, also, the home of the Culinary Institute of America’s Accelerated Culinary Arts Certificate Program, (ACAP).
Making a Meal
Our culinary students each had an apron to wear plus a white toque chef’s hat.
For Your Information – My online research reveals, traditionally, the height of the toque chef’s hat indicated the chef’s rank or seniority in the kitchen. The small pleats in the hat represent the number of ways the chef knew how to cook an egg. (Interesting!)

Ending Notes on Napa Valley Cooking School Blog
Our culinary group really enjoyed the cooking school experience plus the delicious meal they made in class.
Everything from this meal looked super fresh and delicious.
This group of gals is already known for their great cooking and entertaining skills, innovative menus, plus more. Not many people make meals from scratch anymore, but this group certainly can.
