Today we are going to do a quick product evaluation of a new MacBook Pro 13-inch made by Apple Products. For your information, the above photograph is not a MacBook Pro, only an old computer keyboard.
Finger Print Identification
The first feature we tried out was the finger print identification system. It’s great not having to sign in with passwords or pass codes.
Previously, the owner of the new MacBook, imprinted a copy of his finger print on the machine. When I tried to use the computer by placing my fingerprint on the entry key, it immediately picked up the “fraudulent finger print” and closed. So the Touch ID security authentication feature works great.
General Information on MacBook Pro
The screen is a brilliant Retina Display and is very clear. The whole MacBook is thinner and lighter weight than what we used previously. This makes the unit very portable. Albeit, our old laptop was several years old and rather dated.
The MacBook Pro has 24 GM of memory. This makes a great memory for video production, school work or work from home projects.
The unit usually sells for about $1,300 but on a Black Friday Special Price, the unit was discounted for $150 less.
The new laptop has a quiet magic key board which is quick and comfortable to use.
The package containing this unit arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
Swift Developers
For Swift developers, with the MacBook Pro, you do not have to reinstall XCODE. For all the Apple APP Developers out there, this works out great.
Our purchaser has a side gig developing Apple APP’s so this is feature is important.
Closing Notes on MacBook Pro Evaluation
So far, our technical person loves the MacBook Pro and hopes it will take his APP development projects to a new level.
Also, congratulations to that person whose film won the best song category at the 2022 New York City 48-Hour-Film Project.
