On Friday night, we drove through a park’s holiday light show which was put on for charity.
It was well organized and this was their first effort of this type. Apparently, they borrowed a bunch of the lights.
You slowly drove your car in a large loop and ended up at the same place you began your trip.
Decorated Townhouse Not Part of the Light ShowNone of the displays were of a religious nature. We saw lots of snowmen, snow flakes, gingerbread men, and a herd of white reindeer in the back pasture. There were also a couple of working fountains with the water shooting up high.
There were quite a few blow up holiday decorations. I guess my favorite was the vintage trailer.
There was an area where they had live goats near the fence as you passed by.
On one part of the road, there were were hanging lights and what looked like falling stars. It was actually pretty neat.
When we were close to the finish, we drove past the barn and the vintage tractor was decked out in a bunch of lights. The farm cat was also present and meowed loudly so that I could hear her.
At the very end of the show, we saw good old Santa Claus waving from his sled wishing everyone a happy holiday. What a nice way to end the evening and it was all done without any contact.
Decorated House Not Part of the Light ShowThe photograph on the left and top, was taken by FMB’s technical director and was not part of the light show.
I liked the many types of holiday decorations and lights that they used.
