While out exploring the roads of Virginia, we wanted a cup of coffee and stopped in Half Past Moon Coffee Buzz. Half Past Moon Coffee Buzz is a friendly coffee stop in the small town of Marshall.
They also serve a few food items like cookies, bagels, pastries, waffles, and breakfast sandwiches. Beverages include coffee, lattes, smoothies, teas, mushroom coffee, tundras, and affogatos. They also sell some coffee related items like coffee cups.
There is also a number to call ahead for pick ups if you need it to go.
Indoor Out Door Seating
There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We were told we could sit outside while they prepared our coffee, which we did. It reminds one of visiting friends and sitting on the porch.
Weather-wise, it was a gorgeous day for watching the world go by and enjoying the fresh air.
How often we are in such a rush we don’t enjoy the little things in life before we hurry off to the next item on our “to do” list. Everyone should take the time for a cup of java, with a little rest and relaxation on the weekend.
So on the porch, there is also a take one, donate one book box for “date night”. I was tempted to take the last book since it looked interesting but didn’t.

It was nice to be able to stop for a cup of coffee and a quick chat with the sales staff. Then it was back on the road.
