Halloween is around the bend so there is no better time to visit the Frightmare Compound in beautiful Denver, CO.
Our roving travel person, has sent us a few scary photographs of this place. However, this person didn’t dare to travel to this eerie site after dark.
If you check out the attraction’s website, the history goes back to when the area was government-owned and then became condemned swampland. The creepy grounds are said to be haunted with unusual sounds heard even when the attraction is closed.
This large clown head with leering eyes is over a door like entrance.
The Frightmare Compound has a horror house, escape rooms, a haunted museum, and more. It is also a #1 Rated DenverHauntedHouse.com. Because of this, I think that means it is extra creepy. The website also mentions that Brad Holder is the owner of the establishment.
The below photograph shows a brown funeral hearse with a triple horn on the hood. You will also notice a small grave yard in the background.
I’m not sure of the history of this vintage-looking airplane. Did it go down in a thunderstorm, flying error, or something else? Will we see any space aliens at this site?
Are there any brave survivors of this trip?
Fearless visitors can explore a few ghost-town decrepit looking buildings complete with skeletal remains.
After dark, the Frightmare Compound looks like another world with eerie lights and nocturnal creatures. Visit it if you dare!
Happy Halloween from Farmhouse Magic Blog.
