Christmas Jewelry Joy

Believe it or not, Farmhouse Magic Blog is still in the process of putting away the last few items of her holiday decorations.

The photograph above shows some of the older pieces of Christmas jewelry in my collection.

I love the handmade sparkly holiday tree made out of sequins, beads and red felt.  That was actually given to me by a friend.

I wear this piece of jewelry every Christmas holiday.  I like to pin it on my serving apron when entertaining or on the lapel of my coat.  I also wear it when I “play the farmwife at the farmhouse” during their holiday programs.

I like the way the top of the tree has an actual star.  The tree is decked with rows of red beaded garland and multicolored sequins sewed on individually.

The back of the tree is carefully sewn red felt.

A pin is sewn to the back to securely attach it to your garment.

The above photographs shows a plastic jolly snowman in the center.  He was given to me as a hostess gift.  He is now missing his arms but still is a cute snowman.

The white polar bear on the end was purchased in a second hand store.   He is decked out festively with a red rhinestone bow.  The bow is missing one red rhinestone but no one ever notices that.

He is very heavy so he can only be worn on a study coat lapel, etc.

These bargain bells were inexpensive.  I also purchased the older looking bell in a thrift store.

They bells still ring a little when you walk which makes it seems all the more jollier around the holidays.

The red and green hair tie has seen better days and is probably no longer useful as the plastic stretch has worn out of it.

I’m not sure if I’m late or early with this Christmas blog on holiday jewelry.

This blogger still believes in Christmas magic.
