Christmas Day – 2020

The Christmas packages have been unwrapped and admired.

You can hear the holiday music playing softly in the background.

Time for a holiday lunch consisting of a chief’s salad made with left over ham slices, quartered hard boiled eggs, seedless cucumber slices and a lot of crisp lettuce.

It is also nice to include a fresh fruit dish.  Oranges, grapefruit, and pomegranates are in season right now so they are very reasonably priced.

The close up photograph below show thin slices of oranges, raspberries, and pomegranate arils.

Pomegranate arils are actually the red, sweet, juicy covering of each seed.  This is what the juice is made from not the seed.

The lunch meal was, also, served with homemade crescent rolls and butter.

The crescent rolls were wrapped in a kitchen towel to keep warm.

So another Christmas ends but the hopes and wishes for a better year ahead is only beginning.

Peace to the World, Good Health and Happiness!
