Today we took a trip down to Ballston Virginia. Ballston is actually a very nice neighborhood in Arlington, VA.
This lively urban community has lots of technology, education and night life. It’s, also, very near Washington, DC.
All the photographs on today’s blog are from the Ballston area.
Ballston is a great spot for young people since it has a multitude of restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
The nearby mall actually had 20 plus places to eat in it.

This area also has the Rosslyn Ballston Metro station nearby.
Living near the Metro is very convenient since you can hop on the Metro if you need to get somewhere. It is great for going to downtown Washington, DC since you don’t have to look for an expensive parking spot.
Lovely landscaped area in Ballston.
Brass front doors in apartment building.
The below photograph is a little eating nook off the busy main street. I like the garden-like setting. Overhead is a string of lights so that things are illuminated after the sun sets.
Ending Notes on Ballston Virginia
We found our trip to Ballston to be action packed. Lots of things to do, lots of coffee shops, and restaurants.
There is also a great donut place. Yum to that.
We went to the nearby mall to pick up some new slippers and socks.
Everything in Ballston is beautifully landscaped, very clean, busy and urban-happening.
