Anthuriums are a group of tropical plants native to South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
According to my research, the bright plants are nicknamed flamingo flowers. They are known for their bright red, green and white colors. I saw these gorgeous plants at the greenhouse last month, so I’m a little late with this blog.
To flourish these plants, need high humidity plus warmth. One suggestion is to grow them in a bathroom with a window for light. They are pretty much a houseplant or greenhouse plant unless you live in a very warm climate.

The plants like moderate, indirect light. A location next to a shaded window works best as the plants are susceptible to sunburn if given too much sun. They are an herbaceous perennial.

This anthurium has delicate pink and yellowish white flowers with green leaves.
I liked the red, green and white flowers on this anthurium. It is a delightful looking plant. The green and red tones remind one of the holidays.

Ending Notes on Anthuriums
I hope my Readers enjoy the anthuriums photographs although I am a little sparse on details for this flowering plant.
Unfortunately, I only have one houseplant and that one houseplant keeps me busy. Instead, I prefer my outdoor garden, working in the sunshine and fresh air. It’s a nice feeling being one with nature. Toiling in the soil and seeing my efforts go into bloom.
My companion has already planted his lettuce seeds. I guess I should take a peek at his garden to see if anything has come up.
Until I garden again, happy spring day and let’s look forward to summer.
