Poinsettia Sled Centerpiece

It took me a couple of years to find all the items for this poinsettia sled centerpiece.

The large glitter dusted sled was found in a floral department of a supermarket.  The sled came with a colorful stripped insert.  It was on the after Christmas sale table, so it was marked way down to under $5.00.  I also purchased the mini branch lights at the same time which runs on three AA batteries.  There is a small black control box hidden in the floral arrangement so you can turn the fairy lights on or off.

Most of the silk flower poinsettias came from a summer tent sale.  The bright white poinsettias came from Michaels Craft Store.  The red bulbs came from a second hand store.

When you make your own centerpiece make sure all sides look good.

I store this centerpiece in its own plastic container.  All I do when I take it out, is fluff the flowers and branches a bit.

I have used this gold glitter poinsettia sled for many holiday parties and it still looks fresh and new.  It really looks great when you dim the lights and add a couple of candles on the table.
