Today we had a wonderful lunch with friends while dining at a restaurant located at South Lakes Village Center in Reston.
South Lakes Village Center backs to Lake Audubon and is home to a grocery store, a drug store, restaurants and other shops.
We sat at the restaurant’s outdoor patio and enjoyed the lake side view.
There is a small landing near the lake where you can visit and get nearer to the water. There are also a few benches you can sit on while enjoying a cup of coffee. However, the nearby walkway is only open to residents who own houses on the lake.
Ducks, geese, turtles, snakes and other animals also can be seen.
