These easy to make cheddar cheese drop biscuits are delicious and great to serve at any time of the day.
The cheddar cheese gives them a nice flavor and who doesn’t love a cheese favored biscuit? This recipe makes about 8 to 10 good sized biscuits.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups of Flour
- 3/4 Cup of Milk
- 4 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
- 1/2 Cup of Grated Sharp White Cheddar Cheese
- 1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1/3 Cup of Vegetable Oil
- 2 Tablespoons of Melted Butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degree and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt together. Then add cold milk, vegetable oil, and cheddar cheese.
- Quickly mix together. Do not over mix or your biscuits will be hard.
- Drop onto prepared baking sheet and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes until tops are slightly brown.
- Remove from oven and brush hot biscuit tops with butter.
