Cheddar Cheese Biscuit Recipe

These easy to make cheddar cheese drop biscuits are delicious and great to serve at any time of the day.

The cheddar cheese gives them a nice flavor and who doesn’t love a cheese favored biscuit?  This recipe makes about 8 to 10 good sized biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups of Flour
  • 3/4 Cup of Milk
  • 4 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Cup of Grated Sharp White Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1/3 Cup of Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons of Melted Butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degree and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, salt together.  Then add cold milk, vegetable oil, and cheddar cheese.
  3. Quickly mix together.  Do not over mix or your biscuits will be hard.
  4. Drop onto prepared baking sheet and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes until tops are slightly brown.
  5. Remove from oven and brush hot biscuit tops with butter.
