Well, today I’m blogging about snow cleanup. It’s been a few days since the big snowstorm. However, we have lots of snow on the ground and the temperatures are not warm enough to melt it.
The initial snow layer is covered with a sleet layer. So, the snow is heavy and those shovels are breaking.
In fact, to move the snow, you need more than a snow shovel. You, also, want to use a regular shovel to break the ice first.
In our neighborhood, people try to keep the snow shoveled off their front sidewalk. I’m not sure when school will be in session. However, those kiddos need to use the sidewalk to get to the bus stop.

Of course, the air handler out back needs to have the snow brushed off so it operates properly.
Due to the heavy conditions of the snow, none of the patio was cleaned of snow.
Ending Notes of Snow Cleanup Blog
All in all, as far the snow clean up goes, today is pretty uneventful. Yesterday, we got the car out to go for a burger. Once you get onto the main roadways everything is looking pretty good.

It is nearing noon and the outside temperatures are hoovering about 16 degrees. It’s too cold to do much outside. We need those warmer temperatures to melt the snow.
In fact, I’m not sure when those warmer temperatures will happen. The rest of the week is in the “freeze zone.”
I’ve been catching up on my reading. However, it’s prime time to do a little decluttering of useless household items, clothing I no longer wear, and anything else that is making a mess.
Until then, stay warm, dry, and happy Snow Day!
Use your time wisely and get some of your indoor projects done.
