Well, for the longest time, I been trying to give away a thick horse magazine and spied the cozy book nook. Sure, I can put that horse magazine in there so someone else can enjoy it. I have trouble tossing out books or magazines. Someone somewhere might want to take a look at my horse magazine.
To my delight, the book nook was filled with an assortment of both hardcovered and paperback books. The cozy book nook goes by the other name of the Little Free Library. I have never noticed this book nook before, but it comes complete with a bench and side table. What a delightful way to enjoy the afternoon.
Checking out the Books in the Cozy Book Nook
I love to read so I went through all the books in the small library area and selected a book on superfoods and dieting.
I, also, noted some almost new cardboard children’s books. Although I do not have any children in this young age group, I have a neighbor with young grandchildren.
I ended up selecting some classic books on mom llama, Dr. Seuss, and a colorful book on bugs. The bug book is for older children, but I thought they might get some use out of it. It has pullout photographs which looked interesting. What child doesn’t like to look at bugs? I would say a bug hunt is in their future.

Ending Notes
I wanted to sit down for a while in the shade and enjoy reading my new superfood book but decided to come home.
On the way back, I stopped in my neighborhood and handed over the children’s books to the person with the young grandchildren.
At this time, I want to say thank you to everyone who made this Little Free Library possible. I enjoyed it so much and I can’t wait to read my new book; I’ll probably stop by again.
Happy Reading Everyone & Read Something New!
