I guess I want to say thank you to a local store for giving me a free cup of coffee on April 16th – so, Happy 61st Anniversary Wawa! The cashier working in the store told me this is is also the date of the first Wawa store opening in the state of Ohio.
I come to Wawa every Wednesday for a cup of decaffeinated coffee and the local newspaper. I like to read the food section but I had no idea it was Wawa’s Happy 61st Anniversary. Plus, then I read other sections of the newspaper during the next week. Not to mention, I always spend time with the crossword puzzle. OK, I generally have to look online to find the answers to some of the clues.
Products Sold in Wawa
What I like about Wawa is it offers gas and other products found in most convenience stores such as snacks, chips, sodas and candy.
The store offers a variety of coffee, latte, and cappuccino flavors plus frozen drinks. And, yes, they always have decaffeinated coffee there. If the service urn is empty, they will make another pot for you in about four minutes. Some fast food and restaurants are not so accommodating with the decaf. The store also has a variety of creamers, sugar, and non-sugar sweeteners available for that coffee.
Lately, I tried their breakfast egg muffin sandwich which they make in a few minutes. It’s nice to stop there after church for a quick meal or if you want to take an early shopping trip.
Ending Notes on Happy 61st Anniversary
Wow, what I really want to say here is thank you for the coffee. It is nice to get an occasional free thank you gift from a place I frequent quite often.
Yes, this is the place I fill up my car with gas because it is easy to do and I like to go where I can get my things done quickly and be on my way.
So, today’s photo of my free cup of coffee was taken at a local park where I went on a quick hike.
I, also, wanted to see if any forest animals were about. No, to that one although I did photograph quite a few redbuds trees in bloom. Lovely!
