Holiday Gold is the third, or last, of our series of photographs taken at our local garden center. However, don’t be surprised if there are other holiday colors involved and not only gold.
Garden Settings
Today are going to talk a little bit about each different setting.
The below photograph was taken in the greenhouse area. This area is tall enough to set up the artificial holiday trees. Looking over the below display, we find it is about about garden gnomes, mushrooms, tree shaped candles and bird house ornaments. Please note, there are even some red and white mushroom ornaments on the holiday tree.
Candy Canes and Peppermint
In addition, candy cane and peppermint themed merchandise is displayed in the indoor store. A lot of these things would make great hostess gifts if you are attending a holiday get together.
So cheerful, snowmen, stockings, and star shaped dishes.
Natural Tree with Touches of Holiday Gold
This natural themed tree has touches of gold to give it some sparkle. Notice the top of the tree has bells, a church and other items on top. I, personally, like the old fashioned paper chain on the bottom. I remember making these in grade school.
Ending Notes on Holiday Gold
However, it is unusual for Farmhouse Magic Blog, to have three days of blogs on the same visit, so I hope you enjoyed the stories and photographs.
Merrifield Garden Center almost becomes magical with its holiday decorations and trees. I never miss the Holiday Open House.
Perhaps someone should do a children’s book on this topic? No illustrations needed for this book, just take photographs of the garden center.
All merchandise and plants photographed in this blog are available at Merrifield Garden Center.
Thank You to Daniel and Kristin of Merrifield Garden Center for allowing me to blog and take photographs at your store.
Also, a thank you for the free unique calendar. Love it!
