Six Books for Christmas Reading

I was looking for something to blog about today.  I decided to share the names of some great books.  Most of the books are Christmas related or inspirational.  Other books are just a fun read.  I enjoyed them all!

Christmas Stories by Truman Capote – Story of a woman and a child who bake fruitcakes for others.

Shepherds Abiding by Jan Karon – Father Tim repairs an old Nativity set.  Small town excited about Christmas.

A Highland Christmas by M. C. Beaton – Hamish, a policeman from Lochdubh, Scotland must find a missing cat and solve the stolen Christmas lights mystery.

A Vision of Sugar Plums by Janet Evanovich – Stefany Plum, a zany bails bond hunter, hunts for Santa Claus who has skipped bond.  She’s not ready for the holiday–has no tree, decorations or presents.

12 Days of Christmas by Debbie McComber – Julia, a blogger, tries to be kind to a grouchy male neighbor.  Can these two fall in love?

Family of Love by Christine Carpenter – Emily, a TB patient, and Len, a paratrooper in the Pacific theater during WWII, face seemingly insurmountable odds for true love while keeping their faith in God.

Bonus Book:  Kissing Christmas Goodbye – An Agatha Raisen Mystery by M.C. Beaton – Lively tale of Agatha hired to look into a possible poisoning.  Agatha in the meantime is arranging a once in a life time Christmas party to reconnect with her handsome ex husband.
