To some, it might look a little bit like a play area but if you guessed it is a piece of art, then you guessed correctly.
This art work is located at a busy shopping center near an outdoor eating area.
I don’t know who the artist is but I like the bright red hanging mobile parts. The metal curved sculpture looks strong and impressive yet bending and protective.
I like to think that the center is an apple tree with the branches heavy with apples. The two curved arms represent the sun’s beams. Of course, this is just my interpretation.
This sculpture is right next to what I call the disco patio tiles.
Below you will see two photographs of the colorful patio tiles at night. the tiles light up and change color just like the good old disco floors of the 1970’s.
It’s nice to sit in this area after a meal and enjoy the art and disco floor.
