Shopping Spree Items

$4 Shopping Spree

Yesterday, I had a $4 Shopping Spree at one of my favorite church resell shops.

So what does one get for only $4 that is worth blogging about? Sure, let’s face it, that is about the price of a cup of coffee at an upscale coffeehouse. Alright, I did pay sales tax, so my purchase came out to $4.24.

Wrapping Paper

I found a band new roll of holiday gift wrapping paper. I’m always running low on this item, so I picked that up.

The print is rather unusual in that it has a white background with a pinecone design on it. I guess I could use it for other holidays or birthday wrap if I had to. The roll contains 30 square feet and it was originally priced at $5. My price is $1 for the roll.

New Scratch Pads

So the second item of my $4 Shopping Spree is a new pack of 12 unruled scratch pads each with 100 sheets and measuring 4 x 6 inches.

As an active blogger, I’m always in need of scratch pads and go through quite a few of them. I also like to have a scratch pad with me, so I can write down details on photographs I take.

Online this pack sells anywhere from $14.50 to $21.00. My price was $2 for the whole package. This is a great find for me and I know I’ll use every pad!

New Stockings

Albeit, the white stockings are not my size and I don’t intend to wear them but they are very useful in managing my household. They were only a dollar so I’m not worried about the cost. When new, they are originally priced at $4.95.

I can toss silvers of soap in the toes and cut off the ends for my own soap on a rope. Plus, this uses up the leftover soap so I don’t have to toss it out.

Ending Notes on $4 Shopping Spree

Of course, I’m happy about my savings, too. If I purchased the items in a regular store, my total would have been closer to $30.

I love shopping in church resales shops, for great bargains.

So with a little bit of savings on my side, I guess I can splurge on some Farmhouse magical Christmas items, I really want, right?
