Antique Quimper Dishes
What’s New at the Junk Store?
I took a trip to the junk store and saw these antique Quimper dishes in the display case.
Quimper faience is produced in a factory near Quimper in Brittany France. Quimper is tin-glazed and hand-painted earthenware pottery often decorated with folk art designs. Some Quimper ware goes back to 1708 and is strongly sought out by collectors.
I am not going to spend that much money on these dishes, but they have a nice blue and white pattern. Too rich for my pocketbook.
Vintage Chair and Cradle
This photograph shows some of the interesting chairs. The large one almost looks like it belongs in a quaint little cottage in the woods.
There is also an interesting cradle in the background.

Rice Server/Plates?
I am thinking this is a photograph of a rice server and possibly plates. It has some chips on the sides, obviously well loved.
Farmhouse Magic Blog readers any ideas of what this is?
