I’ve blogged about Ovenex metal pans before. The bottom of these two pans has the writing “Made in the U.S.A. Ovenex Perfect Bakeware”. The Ovenex brand made bakeware starting in 1945.
I love the love the aged look of these two old square Ovenex Cake Pans which previously belonged to my mother. There is a little bit of rust here and there on them.
My mother made box cakes in the pans but you could also still make brownies or bar cookies in them.
Square Ovenex Cake PansProbably hundreds of cakes were made in these two pans.
There always seem to be a cake in our house for dessert.
“Perfect Bakeware”, that’s saying it all but don’t forget about long lasting pans.
For Your Information
If you want to use an old worn dark pan be sure to turn down the baking temperature about 25 degrees.

Chelsey,
Your comment was one of the nicest ones I ever received. You stated that you wanted to forever be updated on my new blog posts, saved to your favorites. Now I have to decide if this was a real comment or a “robot” comment. The internet is hard to figure out at times. Take good care of yourself.

Fleta and Ignacio,
Thanks for the comments about loving football. Are we talking about US football or football (soccer) in Europe? Or is this a game for pay/play type of football? What’s your favorite team?
