So, today’s blog is about Veterans Day Freebies and a special thank you to those businesses and restaurants offering that extra something to our US Veterans.
Even though Veterans Day for 2022 is over with, I want to blog about what we did to celebrate the day.
Free Coffee – Wawa
Early Veterans Day morning, our veteran took advance of a free cup of coffee at the local Wawa store. Their coffee is always freshly brewed and they offer a variety of flavored creamers, sugar, or sugar substitutes for that coffee.
They have a big following of coffee fans who come every morning to get a cup of hot coffee and breakfast item. I believe, after 50 paid cups you get a free cup of coffee.
Thanks Wawa for the free coffee for Veterans Day!
Veterans Day for 2022 had some rainy conditions in my area.
Free Meal Voucher – Texas Roadhouse
Next, our veteran received a free meal voucher at Texas Roadhouse. This is a super nice gift. The place has the best steaks and other meals, and is generally packed with customers no matter what time you go.
There was a person outside of the restaurant giving out the vouchers so you didn’t even need to go inside to pick it up. Our veteran is sure to use it at some time in the near future.
Thanks Texas Roadhouse for the free meal voucher on Veterans Day.
There is a big selection of free meals on this Veterans Day voucher given out by the Texas Roadhouse.
Military Discount on Meal – Chick-fil-A
Afterwards, we stopped for lunch at Chick-fil-A and had chicken burgers. This place does a huge business with their pickup/drive through windows. They keep the cars moving, too. That’s not easy to do. At one point in my life, I worked the drive through window at a fast food restaurant and you need good back up to keep things moving.
At Chick-fil-A, we got a military discount on one chicken meal.
Thanks Chick-fil-A for that military discount on a meal.
I only now noticed that those waffle fries are sprinkled with sea salt. Humm.
Please note the military discount on the sales slip.
Dunkin Donuts & Veterans Day Freebies
Dunkin’ Donuts offered our veteran a free donut with his afternoon coffee, but he declined.
Thanks Dunkin Donuts for offering veterans a free yummy donut.
Ending Notes on Veterans Day Freebies
Thank you to the above restaurants who really appreciate the sacrifices made by our service veterans by offering a variety of Veterans Day Freebies.
Although Veterans Day 2022, has passed, I’m sure all the veterans appreciated the thought and the extra freebie.
Wawa, Texas Roadhouse, Chick-fil-A, and Dunkin Donuts Thank You for the Veterans Day Freebies!
