The Little Red Caboose
In the old part of town, there sits a little red caboose on some worn train tracks. The caboose is actually a mini museum which is generally open on Sundays.
Years ago, our town was mainly dairy farms. The farmers would ship the milk to the city in the mornings. The cows were milked twice a day. The afternoon milking would be kept cool so it could be added to the morning milk shipment.
It hard to believe how far our town has come over the years. Now it is pretty much illegal to keep any farm animals in your backyard. Is that progress? Not sure.
