Taking a Fall Walk

Early this morning on my to-do list was taking a fall walk in the neighborhood. Because the official first day of Autumn is tomorrow.

Fall Time Chrysanthemums

The below photograph shows a row of brightly-colored yellow chrysanthemums. When checking online, I found FTD calls chrysanthemums, “The Queen of Fall Flowers” and rightly so. Chrysanthemums, often called mums, are one symbol of abundance at harvest time.

Chrysanthemums are perennial plants requiring little maintenance. Mums love the sun so pick a sunny location for these plants.

Halloween & Fall Decorations

I’m also seeing quite a few Halloween decorations up and down the streets. This jolly pumpkin patch consisting of seven funny pumpkins was in a nearby yard.

This blow up decoration needs an electrical source to keep the pumpkins inflated.

I like the fact the fall pumpkin patch is not scary looking.

Nothing should look too scary for young children.

Fall Themed Cat & Rats

The below photograph, shows a very cute and curious black cat popping out behind a pumpkin. The pumpkins has “Happy Halloween” yellow writing on it.

This decoration was in front of a mailbox. I bet it gives the mailman a smile.

Mail Box Decoration

This cat has large eyes and the pumpkin stem has green curls on it.

This cat and pumpkin combination makes a great Halloween mailbox decoration.

The below photograph is a little bit different showing a couple large black rats rollicking on the front lawn.

The eerie black rats made of metal have two metal prongs to poke into the ground.

I like these unique rats decorations.

They are easy to store once Halloween is over with.

Ending Fall Walk Notes

Looks like fall will be upon on soon and those Halloween decorations are coming out to haunt us once again.

  2. Emily B.,
Thank you for contacting us at FMB. We have a video editor/drone pilot on our staff with college credentials, so we are not in need of a video editor. It is interesting that you think we need a video for FMB. What do my Readers think? Do we need a video? Have a great day.
