State of Emergency in Virginia – Long Gas Lines

I went out for coffee today and noticed the long gas lines near my home.

Last week the cyber attack shut down some US gas pipelines and long lines have begun to form at Virginia gas stations.

Ralph Northam, the governor of Virginia, issued a State of Emergency for Virginia which suspends some fuel regulations. Gas stations are, also, running out of gas.

There were ten plus cars in this gas station line.

Waiting for an open gas pump.

The people in line at this convenience store are probably panic buying gas as I don’t think all these cars are running on empty.

Hopefully, we can get our IT security persons working on this issue and figure out a solution.

With everything controlled by computers and online, do you ever miss the days when knobs and dials were turned manually? No way could that system be computer hacked.

As the cars wait, don’t forget to wear your mask.
